Some foreign guests from Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China etc. stayed at SG as part of a Seoul tour. They are graduate students majoring in Korean language and literature in Korea. They watnted to know a korean family and to experience hanok stay. So we were pleased to show our daily life and we got along together.
They had a special event tasting our traditional alcohols which were made in 'Korea Sool Institute'. The director of the institute gave us various tastes of Korean Sools. Guest complilneted her great dexterity in brewing - so tasyt and flavorful. We all were in high spirits and chattered. And the host sang a Dan’ga- “Sacheol-ga”(Song of Four Seasons) which our guests requested. We sang Jindo Arirang and danced together spontaneously. It was a real Korean “Heung”(excitement) emotion!
Actually the host participated a folk festivals held in Central Park of Seongnam last weekend(Aug. 20). So this kind of small perfomance was more enjoyable and meaningful.
